Tuesday October 28th at 7pm
Hyperreal Film Club: 301 Chicon St Suite A, Austin, TX 78702
There’s something wicked brewing in East Austin. Usually, Hyperreal Film Club tells you what you’re going to watch in advance, but for this Shhhhhinema screening, you’ve got to just trust. This will be a special screening of an appropriately scary movie fit for horror hounds and fun-lovers alike. To help the on-screen terror go down smoothly, Austin Beerworks will be on hand with plenty of their seasonal Oktoberfest, Montecore. Happy (early) Halloween!
This screening benefits Hyperreal Film Club. A 501c3 non-profit promoting “Cinema For the People” by supporting the development of a community screening space and clubhouse.

DESIGN: Creative Mash featuring OPA Design Studio
Wednesday, November 5th at 6 pm
St. Elmo Brewing Company – Springdale
The magic of Austin’s beer is more than the beverage itself. Here, ATX Beer Party is showcasing the architectural design, branding and more of our special beer community.
We’re taking over the second St. Elmo location to showcase how the building transformed from a former strip club to Carl Kölsch-purveying power house.
Speakers include Stephen Oliver ( OPA Design Studio Principal), Bryan Winslow (St. Elmo Brewing Founder and Owner) on a guided conversation about the behind the scenes details of bringing the space online.
St. Elmo will be releasing Mary Christmas Ale at the event.
The evening will feature a raffle with all proceeds benefitting Community First! Village, a development of Mobile Loaves & Fishes. https://mlf.org/community-first/
